Low-cost Pet Vaccine Clinic Planned

The City of Bakersfield's Animal Control Unit will host a low-cost pet vaccination and licensing clinic at Kroll Park on Saturday, November 14.
The clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to noon and several health safeguards will be in place due to the pandemic.
- Clinic stations will be set up near the dog park entrance.
- Street parking is available on several surrounding streets.
- Customers will be provided forms that must be completed prior to services.
- Customer will be also be given a specified time frame when they can exit their vehicle with their pet and get in line, with their completed form.
- Customers without vehicles will be asked to return at the designated time for services.
- Pets will be handled by staff when possible.
- While in line, a minimum distance of 6 feet from all others in line will be enforced.
- One person per animal (2 MAXIMUM only if owner needs assistance controlling animal).
- Bi-lingual staff will be available; customers do not need to bring an interpreter.
- All customers will be required to wear masks. NO MASK, NO SERVICE.
