Low-cost Pet Vaccine Clinic Planned

The City of Bakersfield's Animal Control Unit will host a low-cost pet vaccination and licensing clinic at Kroll Park on Saturday, November 14.

The clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to noon and several health safeguards will be in place due to the pandemic.

Clinic stations will be set up near the dog park entrance.
Street parking is available on several surrounding streets.
Customers will be provided forms that must be completed prior to services.
Customer will be also be given a specified time frame when they can exit their vehicle with their pet and get in line, with their completed form.
Customers without vehicles will be asked to return at the designated time for services.
Pets will be handled by staff when possible.
While in line, a minimum distance of 6 feet from all others in line will be enforced.
One person per animal (2 MAXIMUM only if owner needs assistance controlling animal).
Bi-lingual staff will be available; customers do not need to bring an interpreter.
All customers will be required to wear masks. NO MASK, NO SERVICE.
