Daytime Lane, Ramp Closures Planned on Westside Parkway

Traffic may be impacted by road work

Daytime lane closures are planned for the inside eastbound lane on the Westside Parkway, between Coffee Road and Truxtun Avenue, for the remainder of the week. The contractor will be sealing pavement joints between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., each day.

Once the eastbound work is completed, the contractor will switch to the inside westbound lane. This work will also take place during daytime hours and must be completed advance of final striping on this section of the roadway.

Nighttime closures have been scheduled for the eastbound Westside Parkway off-ramp to Truxtun Avenue on Sunday, December 22 and Monday, December 23, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting. Eastbound motorists will need to exit the Westside Parkway at Mohawk Street to connect with Truxtun Avenue. The westbound on-ramp will remain open, but will be operating with only one lane. Truxtun Avenue will remain open to traffic in both directions.

Work may be rescheduled without notice due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Please slow down and watch for construction workers and equipment while driving in the vicinity of this work. The Thomas Roads Improvement Program apologizes for any inconvenience this work may cause the traveling public.
