Welcome to the City of Bakersfield Animal Care Center (CBACC). CBACC accepts animals from city residents and animals impounded by the City of Bakersfield Animal Control Officers.

The Division Goal is to protect the assets of the City from potential loss by purchasing insurance, self-insuring or transferring the risk of loss to others; promote safety and well being for City employees by designing training and educational programs to reduce injuries; respond to all claims filed against the City and limit amount of loss.
