Wilson Park
A friendly, neighborly place to visit would be Wilson Park.
Located at the intersection of Wilson Road and Hughes Lane,
Wilson Park offers a picnic area which can be guaranteed for
your use by making a reservation. In addition to the picnic
area, this park has a basketball court and tennis courts with
available lighting for the short days of the winter and spring
seasons. There is also a volley ball area just North of the
parking area on the East side of the park.
If your family enjoys baseball, there is a backstop located at this park which can be used on a first-come-first-served basis. Bring your family and friends, enjoy a barbeque picnic, then have a great game of baseball!
Wilson Park even offers something for “man’s best friend”. There is a large enclosed no-leash area for your dog to run, exercise, and socialize with other canines, while their human companions meet and visit with other people.
Easy to get to Wilson Park is located at the corner of Wilson
Road and Hughes Lane. Come and enjoy this wonderful park!
