Planz Park
How do you want to spend your days? How about at this great
neighborhood park! Planz Park, located at the corner of Planz
Road and South H Street, has three picnic areas waiting for
your party. These picnic areas can be reserved in advance to
assure you have the space necessary for the next family reunion,
company picnic or friendly get together. There is also a serving
shelter which can be added to your reservation.
How about reserving the baseball diamond for league or individual group play? What a great way to spend a weekend day or weeknight evening. If baseball is not your game; how about a game of basketball? The basketball court at this facility is open to all players, and offers lighting for those evening games.
If you prefer a cooler way to relax, this park offers both a swimming pool and a spray park. Both are open during the long hot days of summer for family enjoyment. The pool has lifeguards on duty, and is open during the weekdays and weekends of the summer. The spray park is open during the hottest days of summer and fall. All members of the community can enjoy this water feature during the operating hours and for no cost!
