Tucked away just North of Stockdale Highway on Montclair is
Centennial Park. This park offers relief from the hustle and
bustle of city life, without leaving the city. Individual picnic
areas, or covered seating areas, can keep you comfortable while
your children play away on the wonderful toys located in the
sandlot style play area.
Planning a family gathering or company picnic? Centennial Park offers picnic
areas, with a serving shelter, for rent for a nominal fee. The reservation will
guarantee your spot on the day of your choice, and the serving shelter offers
you a place to serve food without worrying about the elements.
Come and enjoy a rousing game of basketball, tennis or volleyball on lighted courts. Or if baseball or soccer is more to your liking, there is a baseball backstop or a soccer field for your use on a first-come-first-served basis.
If you enjoy playing with your dog, this park also offers a no-leash area enjoyed by many dogs and their owners. This area is surrounded by fencing, and is large enough to tire out the most energetic of dogs!
