City In The Hills ParkThe Grand Opening Ceremony Recap

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held for the City's 59th park, City in the Hills Park. Mayor Harvey Hall, Councilmember Ken Weir, along with city officials and representatives from the project and community were in attendance at the opening the City’s newest park, City in the Hills Park. Funded by Park Improvement Funds, the 1.74 million dollar project improved 10 acres of park land with shaded picnic facilities, exercise area, children’s playground; tennis, basketball, sand volleyball courts; and an 18 - hole disc golf course. Other features include a perimeter walking trail, open turf areas, boulder outcroppings, and drought tolerant plants on the picturesque slopes.

Park Location
The park is located a 1000 City Hills Drive. From downtown, take Hwy 178 east to Canteria Drive, turn left (north); stay on Canteria Drive until it ends on City Hills Drive and the park.
