About "Avoid the 18"

The “Avoid the 18 Kern County DUI Taskforce” reminds Kern County drivers not to drink and drive during the holidays because thousands of others stand ready to report you! Fellow commuters are asked to Report Drunk Drivers - Call 9-1-1.



The Avoid the 18 DUI Task Force is composed of local law enforcement agencies
throughout Kern County have allied together to combat drunk driving in cities and
unincorporated area of Kern County. The program is called the Avoid DUI Campaign because motorists can "avoid" being arrested by not drinking and driving.
