NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Kern County Planning Commissioners and the Bakersfield Planning Commissioners will hold a Special Joint Workshop on Monday, March 8, 2010, at 6:00 p.m., in the Chambers of the Board of Supervisors on the First Floor of the Kern County Administrative Center, 1115 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, California.  The focus of this workshop is the Metropolitan Bakersfield General Plan Update and issues related to the proposed Urban Opportunities Map and Infill Incentives Strategies in the Metropolitan Bakersfield area.

The second Joint City/County Planning Commission workshop was held Monday, April 20, 2009 at the Kern County Board of Supervisors’ chambers. All staff slide presentations, maps, Public Outreach Issues Report, and Existing Conditions, Constraints and Opportunities Reports in the Library.
