How To Get Involved
A general plan is only successful when it reflects the priorities and values of the community. In the City of Bakersfield, community members, City staff and City officials will help guide the planning process through a series of meetings. But, we need to hear from all voices. What do you like about the City? What needs improvement? This is your opportunity to say how the City should develop over the next 20-30 years.
We invite you to come to a workshop or public meeting to share your vision for the City’s future. Please let us know what you think! Leave comments and join our contact list.
