Public Comments
The Building Department is seeking public comments for possible modifications or changes prior to staff’s final recommendation to the City Council for the adoption of new codes which will become effect in January 1, 2008.

Plan Review Applications
All plan review applications submitted after December 31, 2007 will be required to comply with the new codes.
The 2007 CBC and other codes are available for purchase directly from the International Code Council, at www.iccsafe.org.
New Code Training
All designers and contractors will need to participate in training before the new codes take effect. Training classes are available through the following organizations:
