Treasury

We administer and enforce provisions of the Municipal Code relating to business licenses, transient outdoor business permits, other business regulatory permits and transient lodging tax.

The division also provides the City with centralized cashiering and check distribution and investment of City monies.

Business Tax Certificate applications are available below or may also be obtained by calling the Treasury Division at (661) 326-3762, or they can be picked up in person at 1600 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, CA.
