These positions cannot be applied for online. You may pick up an application at the Human Resources Division at 1600 Truxtun Ave (First Floor), City Hall North, Bakersfield, CA for these positions.
Applying For A Firefighter/Fire Promotional Position
Because Fire positions require additional documents, certificates, etc., a listing of those types of positions will be posted online in addition to under the "What’s New" area. However, these positions will require a hard copy application accompanied by any required documents. Please refer to the job posting for details on application processing.
